Steam baths

Enjoy the naturally heated steam baths, temperatures vary between 40°C and 50°C.
Heat is coming directly from the ground, which will give you an authentic and natural Icelandic experience.

Relaxing pools

The perfect place to relax your body and soul. Different baths of different temperatures. Those baths are naturally heated and surrounded by magnificent landscape, making this place the perfect place to completely relax. 

Sauna

Don’t miss the Finnish-style sauna, temperatures vary between 80°C and 90°C. You’ll find in this sauna a large window which will allow you to enjoy the beautiful Laugarvatn lake. 

The humidity is lower here than in the steam bath, making the warmth a bit more bearable for those who don’t like humid heat.

The lake

And again, being in those relaxing baths, jump in the nearby cold lake to finish your experience in an invigorating way! Going from hot to cold in known for being really for blood flow, so don't hesitate and jump in this lake!


*Unique experience* The geothermal bakery

You may already have heard that you can bake bread directly on the ground in Iceland. Our friends from the Fontana SPA will take you for a walk and show you how they make this bread. 

You’ll be shown how they bury the pot in the ground. Then, they will dig out another one and you’ll taste it with Icelandic butter. Believe me, you will love it!

How to get there? 

Fontana is quite easy to reach from the Reykjavik area, and the drive is around 1 hour.

As you can see, the spa is located right in the middle of the Golden Circle, and is a perfect activity during your Golden Circle tour! :)
